 Anti Diabetic Herbs and Foods
There are foods and herbs, which have a specific role in the treatment of diabetes. Some of them are:

. Neem leaves: Neem is an age-old remedy and does not require a trip to stores. It is easily available anywhere. Leaves made to juice or paste can be taken internally to lower blood sugar.
. Turmeric as remedy: Ayurveda recommends turmeric as an exclusive remedy for diabetes. It is more effective if taken with an equal amount of amla powder. ‘The Indian journal Pharmacology’ concludes in a study that the fine powder of turmeric has blood sugar lowering effects.
. Garlic: It is a well-known fact that major deaths in diabetes occur due to vascular and neurological complications. Eat 2-4 cloves of raw garlic everyday and you can keep the risks at bay. If it is too strong for you to take, there are garlic pills with or without odour.
. Bael: Though this plant is famous for its fruit, here we are interested in its leaves. They are scientifically proven to be antidiabetic. Drink fresh juice of leaves daily along with pinch of black pepper. This will take care of your excess body sugar.

 HEART DISEASES AND AYURVEDA

 Treatment
Ayurveda considers the functions of heart and mind interlinked. Disturbance in one affects the other. Therefore, patients  having heart disease are advised by the Ayurvedic physicians to refrain from anxiety, worry, excessive sexual intercourse      and wrathful disposition. All efforts should be made for the patient to have good sleep at night. Even rest during the day is  essential. He should never be permitted to remain aware at night for long. Fried things, pulses and their preparations, and  groundnut oil are prohibited. Ayurvedic physicians allow butter or ghee, and not groundnut oil. Cow’s ghee, cow’s milk  and  cows’ butter are useful for the patient. Buffalo ghee  and buffalo milk are not recommended. Stimulants like tea,  coffee and alcoholic drinks are very harmful for such patients. The patient’s bowels should move regularly. If there is  constipation, he is advised to take a glass of water early morning and go for a walk every day.

Arthritis - Ayurvedic Approch & treatment

Arthritis is the inflammation of one or more joints, which results in soreness, swelling, stiffness, discomfort, and restricted movement. It involves the breakdown of cartilage. Cartilage normally protects the joint, allowing for even movement. Cartilage also absorbs shock when pressure is placed on the joint. Without the usual amount of cartilage, the bones rub together, causing soreness, swelling and stiffness. Because arthritis is not caused by an exposure to a virus or bacteria, there is no “incubation period.” However, it is possible for someone to have arthritis and not even know it, simply dismissing it as everyday joint pain.

Diagnosis
No single test or physical finding confirms the diagnosis—many are needed to be positive.
. A physical exam
. Imaging and laboratory tests
. Blood tests and x-rays

Prevention
While there is no known prevention for arthritis, there are, naturally, preventative steps to avoiding arthritis. Appropriate management of arthritis, including weight control, physical activity, adequate rest, and physical therapy, can help people with arthritis stay productive and function normally and can help prevent getting arthritis in the first place.

Treatment
Treatment of arthritis depends on the particular cause, which joints are affected, and how the condition affects daily activities. Treatment focuses on reducing pain and discomfort and preventing further disability. The cause is not necessarily curable, as with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Medications can be prescribed to reduce swelling in the joints in order to relieve pain and prevent or slow down further joint damage. Occupational and physical therapy can teach patient’s how to protect their joints.
